A contribution to improve tourist services 

The Municipality of Rosignano Marittimo enforced the tourist tax for visitors according to the City Council Resolutions number 69 dated May 2 2012, number 25 dated March 29th 2012 and number 38 dated 30ty April 2013.

The collected funds will be assigned:

• To the widening of services for tourist reception and information.
• To promotional events.
• To the widening of services for beach security and accessibility.
• To the improvement of city traffic.
• To works aimed at maintaining and salvaging the city’s cultural and environmental heritage in order to guarantee a better enjoyment.
• To works of maintenance and urban planning.
• To training and refresher courses for professional figures working in the tourist industry, especially for young people.

Tourist tax for this kind of accommodation is € …… per person for one night.

It will be levied for a maximum of 20 consecutive nights.

Tourist tax will also be charged per person for a maximum of 30 overall nights of any overnight stay in different Accommodation facilities in the Municipality of Rosignano Marittimo, for the period of imposition of the tourist tax. 

Tourist tax will be charged between June 01st 2017 and October 15th 2017.

The following people will be exempted from tourist taxation:

1. Children aged less than 14 years old.
2. People assisting a family member admitted to local hospitals, who need to stay in accommodation facilities in the Municipality of Rosignano Marittimo.
3. People who are not residents, but work and live in accommodation facilities in the Municipality of Rosignano Marittimo.
4. People who have to stay in accommodation facilities, according to measures taken by the authorities, because of any emergency due to disasters, natural or otherwise, or humanitarian aid
5. Disabled people, who are not self-sufficient (with medical certificate) and their helpers.
